Alexandre Brousseau
An experienced physiotherapist, I have been practicing for nearly 20 years and stand out through a rigorous approach focused on gaining a deep understanding of my patients’ needs. I chose physiotherapy for its practical and human aspects, allowing me to support people in achieving a lasting return to their activities.
Graduated from Université Laval in 2006, I have completed numerous continuing education courses over the years in manual therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, temporomandibular disorders (TMJ), and the management of various neuromusculoskeletal conditions. I am also actively involved in the profession as a clinical instructor and supervisor.
Throughout my career, I owned and managed an interdisciplinary clinic for 10 years, where I developed strong expertise in interprofessional collaboration and healthcare organization. I advocate for an approach where the strengths of each professional can make a meaningful difference in patients’ rehabilitation.
I am particularly interested in complex cases, where thorough assessments allow me to effectively target interventions. As part of the Dextérité team, I leverage my experience to optimize patient care and contribute to the evolution of clinical practices. Known for my attentive listening and ability to simplify complex concepts, I prioritize a collaborative approach focused on autonomy and overall balance.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family, cooking, woodworking, as well as running and horseback riding.
